The young basketball player picking up the trash inspired me. Also reminded me of what a man I used to work for told us. If you see a piece of paper on the ground, pick it up & throw it away. Keep where you live clean. So today, in the wind & rain, I walked around the side of the complex where I live and picked up several pieces of garbage, eaten fruit tossed on the ground, soft drink cups, straws, etc. & threw them away. Perhaps it will inspire others.

How nice to know that some youngsters have enough class to overcome the no-class coaches.

Hope you enjoy the holidays!

Thank you, Kareem. The world cannot see enough pictures of you and Coach Wooden together. The two of you always remind us of excellence, responsibility, and moral courage.

Such wise words. A connection between football, CTE & ALS? Not so far-fetched. It makes me wonder if so many young men became aware of this if they would still choose to play the sport. I am forwarding your comments to my sister because she has a grandson who plays defense and is being constantly praised and PAID by his parents for every hit he puts on the quarterback. They think it's great and the more aggressive the better.

Thank you for your wisdom. The best of health & happiness to you during the holiday season.
