There is nothing greater than the joys of Christmas music. “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” is a visual, interactive song, which I enjoy every year, just listening to the words. Would love to bottle us at our best selves, and sprinkle us around throughout the year. But that might make us complacent and mediocre, waiting for our little drop. Meanwhile, I, too, shall enjoy this period of political slumber, and wishing you, and all those in this community, a very joyous time, however you celebrate the holiday season.

And give thanks for one of our greatest gifts, as I discovered this year for the first time—the wit, wisdom and joy of my fellow Bruin and legend in diverse things, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
