“Check the lost and found…” Well said, Kareem!

I used to love the winter olympics, back in the days of Torville and Dean. Now I watch nothing related to the winter or summer games. I can't stand the stench.

As for the NFL, they continue to show that they really aren't very bright. The NBA has shown the way, and increases in popularity ( which leads to increased revenue), but the NFL refuses to learn.

Word! Kareem, you know where I stand on this issue. Posers! The NFL is a farcical joke. Tennis? Come on, is that a sport? It's more recreation at a high level. The Olympics are like MLB...a past time...non-hyphenated for a reason, as they've seen their glory days and should pack it in.

Hi Kareem. Thanks for the post. To me it seems that integrity is falling by the wayside. White owners. They own a team, but not the players, right? Wrong. They are all commerce, money making supremely gifted athletes. It goes back forever. Rich provide entertainment for themselves & the public. The old boys network. And rich white men, no matter their wealth, still fear & envy the black man. All must be done to keep him in a subservient position. As far as the whole issue with Novak & COVID, so tired of all the arrogance & mindless stupidity. No tolerance left. My sister just became ill. She is fully vaccinated and boostered. Sick of these people. Tonight, during one of the basketball breaks, Shaq said the vaccination shouldn't be mandated. What? So dumb. Big foot in mouth.

Sorry I missed you on Anderson Cooper. You seem to have more patience and understanding than I ever will.

Speak truth to power.

Integrity in sports, big topic, important topic. Players, teams, leagues... the press. Sports could be, should be, such an inspiration to higher ideals, from equality to ecology to social and economic justice. Instead, the NFL tries to weasel its way out the traumatic head injuries suffered by players (most are Black); MLB's milk toast response to the Houston Astro's nonsense. The BWAA. The NCAA. The ATP... Thank you, Kareem, for taking this on.
